It's been a while and a lot has changed. I've been training every week on Trampoline at Acrosport Barani. My backfulls are doing really well and now I've been trying to land D-Spin 1080's. My air awareness has been thrown out of wack due to three revolutions. The rotation and flipping isn't the big problem but the landing of it is the only factor that I need to master. There are some aspects that need to be tweaked:
1.Take Off
But I think landing is the big priority at the moment. Complete on and the rest will fall into place. With the ski season just around the corner I getting really stoked about everything that is going to unroll in front of me. I've finished first stage of qualification and I'm waiting for the snow to come so that I can finish up and start the competitive season. My list of just Backflip has now been joined by Frontflip and Lincoln Loop. Unfortunately I've been out of the gym the past few weeks due to the start of school. But as of tomorrow I'm going back.

I've had a small issue getting the videos that I filmed at Momentum Ski Camps but the videos are coming. In the next edit you will definitely see segments of the gym, Acrosport Barani and Momentum if I can get them. Schedules are soon to come but they haven't been posted on the FQSA site. I'll get them to you guys as soon as they are available.

National Course at the Centre Excellence Val St Come has now become available to me for daily training this year. And the gym that is in our new building has been opened to me as well. This years goals are set but I'll be keeping those between me and my coach. But this season I will be giving it my all and throwing down when need to get back on top of that podium again.

Until next time keep pushing yourself fellow mogul skiers. And for all of the others never give up on your dreams. Everything will come with time. Patience is a virtue. As I say Get Focused, Get Pumped, Get Gold

Summer Time

Going to have a great summer this year. After I finish my exams on the 19th of June I leave to Quebec City for one week at the fabulous water ramp facility on Le Relais. Getting back on the 29th I spend on week with my friends and family before I leave to Momentum Ski Camps at Whistler Blackcomb.
Owned by Jon Smart an ex world cup mogul skier. Momentum Ski Camps uses the best athletes that are competing on the world cup to coach the next generation. Some of these coaches include Mikael Kingsbury, Alexandre Bilodeau and Eddie Hicks. After three weeks at this fabulous camp it's time to head home where I resume trampoline every Tuesday and water ramps at St. Hypolite. Thanks to my coach Charles Antoine starting the 23rd (the day after I get back from BC) I go to CAMEL SPLAWT a water ramp camp where I will be practising my backfulls and frontflips for the up coming season. Stay tuned for upcoming pictures, videos and post that will now be on vimeo and youtube.

Duels consist of two competitor skiing a mogul course head to head. Out of the start gate the competitors race done the course and the one with the best time and score moves on to the next round. The Sunday duels at Le Relais today where a great success. Unfortunately I was defeated my first run after my BYE. But I didn't go down without a fight. Guillaume Boileau took a lead after the first jump but when he slowed down in mid air doing a 360. I motored threw on a huge back cross on the bottom jump. After having a fast finish the time that seperated us was 0.04 seconds. Threw out the year Guillaume has been a great competitor always making push those limits to stay ahead of him but you can win all the time.

March Break

Its time to clear my mind. Heading to Whistler will do that for me. Get everything out of my mind then head straight into training at Le Relais on Friday to have peak performance Saturday and Sunday. Quick Tip: Getting a custom mouch guard made by your dentist is the best idea ever. having it perfectly fit to my teeth and not having to worry about it being to bulky make the thought of protective gear disappear and the focus returns to what I have to do.

New Technique, And Its Going To Bring More Points

After a day of training Marc Antoine Gagnon ran me threw the steps to new technique that will help when the moguls become huge. Being coached by Marc Antoine Gagnon give me another way to hear on what i need to improve. Just having it put in other words makes it all make sense.
